The holiday apartment “beim Schmied” of the Römersberger family in Straßkirchen is an idyllically located accommodation in a village about 2 km southeast of Vogtareuth and the Schön Klinik. It is situated between Rosenheim and Wasserburg am Inn, on the western edge of the Chiemgau region, offering a beautiful view of the Chiemgau Alps and nearby lakes providing many opportunities for relaxation and leisure activities.
The Rinser See, located 3 km away and situated between forest and meadows, offers several bathing spots and a kiosk. The much larger Hofstätter See, located 4 km away, has a beach house for outdoor dining and a hiking trail around the lake. The Simsee (approx. 7 km) and the Chiemsee (approx. 15 km) offer additional options for sports, leisure, and recreational activities. The Chiemsee shipping company’s boats can take you to the Herreninsel and Fraueninsel, and there are boat rentals, a sailing school, stand up paddling and the Chiemsee bike path which is not only great for mountain bikers but also for day tours. The nearby Chiemgau mountains provide a wide range of leisure activities for mountain enthusiasts and skiers.

The apartment “beim Schmied” is located on the second floor with a separate entrance and has approximately 85 square meters of living space. It comprises of a large living area with a kitchen, TV, and dining area. There are 2 bedrooms that can accommodate 4 people. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a shower, a corner bathtub, 2 washbasins, and a washing machine (with an additional fee). The apartment has 2 balconies where you can enjoy the sun and different weather conditions throughout the day.
